The International Business Center Solingen (IBCS) is an initiative of Economic Development of the City of Solingen and acts as a central contact point for international business people in Solingen.

The city of Solingen, which is also called the “City of Blades”, is known throughout the world and, through its companies, is internationally well connected. It is not, however, only Solingen products and services which are in demand internationally, but the location of Solingen itself, close to metropolitan cities, is becoming more and more interesting for international companies.

We support the targeted relocation of international companies in Solingen and advise and assist interested entrepreneurs in all matters relating to making an entrepreneurial start in Solingen. The establishment of an office on the premises of the Solingen Founder and Technology Center provides the opportunity for mutual exchange and business appointments, as well as space for meetings between national and international entrepreneurs, investors and start-ups. We are available to interested entrepreneurs, potential investors and start-up entrepreneurs as permanent contact persons.
